TERAVARNA offers annual plans for individual and combined subscriptions or you can also pick annual plans for individual platforms. Once you register, your passion becomes our responsibility. What's happening?
TERAVARNA has partnered with both ARTSY and Artnet with their top-tier plans so that our artists have the best resources at their disposal.
What are ARTSY and Artnet?
Both Arsty and Artnet are one of the biggest online marketplaces in the world. With their global outreach, network and credibility, they are top choices for art collectors.
Do I need to subscribe to both ARTSY and Artnet to sell my art?
That’s entirely up to you. You can either choose to enlist on both ARTSY and Artnet by choosing our combined plan, or you can also pick our annual individual plan if that works better for you. There are no monthly subscriptions for individual platforms
How does it benefit me if TERAVARNA is on ARTSY's and Artnet’s top-tier plans?
As a part of their top-tier plans, TERAVARNA has guaranteed access to extensive advertising and outreach which allows us to advertise your artwork on a broader scale. This means being a part of their social media, email campaigns and website features from time to time.
How can I sell my art on ARTSY and Artnet?
If you’re already a part of our Solo Exhibition plan, congratulations! You’ve already been juried in, and you can subscribe to one of our plans to start selling your works right away. If you aren’t one of our Solo artists, the first step would be to register to be one.
How do I take part in a Solo Exhibition on TERAVARNA?
We invite all artists, both established and emerging, to apply to our Solo Exhibition plan. The application process is simple. You visit our Solo Exhibition link and upload 5 artworks. Once you submit your application, you’ll hear back from us within 1 business week. If offered a spot, you can choose from our yearly, or lifetime plan.
Is my spot for a Solo Exhibition guaranteed?
As our spots are limited, we try our level best to provide a spot to as many artists as we can, however, the nomination does not guarantee that an artist will be represented.
Will you hold monthly exhibits on ARTSY and Artnet sites?
More than just monthly exhibits, we will have frequent group and even solo exhibits to draw the attention of art collectors. The online exhibition dates will be spread out in order to maximize your exposure to premier art collectors in the industry.
How else will you promote me?
Our artists will be promoted through newsletters, email campaigns, and, social media featuring on these platforms from time to time.
What will I gain from this?
Due to the finicky nature of the art market, we don’t guarantee sales but you will definitely get the best possible exposure through the gallery exhibitions and art room features of these art selling platforms.
How do I know if I’m invited to display my works on ARTSY or Artnet?
If you’ve received an email from us inviting you, then cheer up, because you can now sell your art on these platforms.. Still, the decision to participate will ultimately be yours.
If you’re one of our Solo Exhibition artists and haven’t received an email yet (check your Spam folder please!).
Am I guaranteed a spot on ARTSY or Artnet’s marketplace if I’ve already been accepted for a Solo Exhibition on TERAVARNA?
Unfortunately, owing to the high standards of acceptance on both ARTSY and Artnet, we can’t guarantee a spot for our solo exhibition artists. In such cases, you will get a full refund of your Artsy or Artnet subscription fee if you have already paid it.
Will all my works be displayed on ARTSY or Artnet?
Most of the works you submit that are of high artistic value should be displayed on these platforms. However, there may arise an occasion where their concierge team and/or TERAVARNA’s jury decides that it will be in our best mutual interest to request a replacement artwork.
How many works can I display on these platforms?
Unlimited. Yes, you read that right! This also means that you have unlimited sales potential. Please note, however, that these platforms limit the number of works you can upload each month; so in one batch, you can upload only 25-30 artworks at most and then add more the next month.
Will all my works be displayed on ARTSY?
Most of the works you submit that are of high artistic value should be displayed on ARTSY. However, there may rise an occasion where ARTSY’s concierge team and/or TERAVARNA’s jury decides that it will be in our best mutual interest to request for a replacement artwork.
How many works can I display on ARTSY?
Unlimited. Yes, you read that right! This also means that you have unlimited sales potential. Please note, however, that ARTSY limits the number of works you can upload each month; so it might take a little while to get your initial submissions to all be displayed on ARTSY’s site.
What will I need to do in order to be part of ARTSY or Artnet?
You’ll need to sign up for their subscription through TERAVARNA. We’re of course assuming that you’ve already subscribed to our ELITE, ELITE+ or PRO plans. If you haven’t, then you’d need to do that ASAP.
How much is the monthly subscription fee to display my work on ARTSY or Artnet?
The monthly subscription for the ARTSY & Artnet combination plan costs $80 per month. You can only get the monthly subscription if you pick our combined plan and sell on both ARTSY & Artnet. There are no monthly subscription plans for individual platforms.
Will I save more if I choose to go with an annual plan?
Absolutely! We’re trying to mitigate our huge start-up costs with these platforms and as such offering an annual subscription plan at more than a 20% discount. In this case, with our annual combination plan, you only pay a one-time fee of $750. Annual plans for individual platforms cost $500.
Is there any other incentive you’re giving me for going with an annual plan?
Yes! We’d like for you to succeed 100%, so we’ll be charging 10% less commission on art sales when you opt for an annual subscription over a monthly one.
As an artist, can I directly display my artwork on ARTSY's platforms?
ARTSY does not do business with individual artists, no matter how famous. This means that you’ll first need to be affiliated with an art gallery that has already partnered with ARTSY. That gallery must also be willing to include you as one of their represented artists to be included on ARTSY’s platform.
Why am I being asked to pay to display my works on ARTSY or Artnet?
In order to function as a viable company ourselves while partnering with conglomerates like ARTSY and Artnet, we do need to collect a small subscription fee to offset our huge operating costs. This is one reason why we promise to refund 100% of your subscription price once you hit the selling threshold of $8,000 in a year.
Will you charge a commission if my work sells on ARTSY or Artnet?
Yes, we charge a small commission in exchange for facilitating your sale on any one of these platforms. It helps us recover the hefty fee we pay them to display your work.
How much commission will you charge if my art sells on the ARTSY or Artnet’s platform?
We have a flat commission of 40% on our annual plan and 50% on our monthly plan.
How should I price my artwork?
Set a price you want to achieve for your artwork and then add the commission percentage depending on the plan you choose. It’s 40% for annual plans and 50% for monthly plans.
What's the “KILLER” incentive?
Only for our annual plans, we have one more card up our sleeves. In the event you make at least $8,000 in sales during the year, we will refund you your ENTIRE subscription fee for that year. That’s right! We will credit you the $750 you paid when you signed up, so essentially, you’ll be selling on these platforms without paying them or us any subscription fees.
Who pays for the shipping, handling, and insurance?
This cost is ultimately paid by the buyer for both ARTSY & Artnet. As an artist, you can either choose to add the shipping cost to your artwork or charge it separately. We always recommend the former to the artists.*
Do I have to use my existing artworks which are already on TERAVARNA's for the Solo Exhibition towards ARTSY/Artnet listings?
This is entirely up to you and you can list any work that you consider more sellable out of others for a strong start.

To get the ball rolling, we’d love for you to subscribe to our annual plan, which would give you the ability to list and sell an unlimited number of artworks. If you’re short on funds or would like to try us out instead, you’re welcome to start off on our monthly plan and switch when you’re ready.
